Re: Are modern diesels worthy of low road tax?
Just thought this thread needed bumping... Look how it turned out - VW and other marques emissions scandal, government at last see diesels for what they are. Slightly less CO2 but would rather have CO2 in the local environment than NOX and diesel particulates. Let's face it, it should always have be...

Re: Query, which engine better for LPG Conversion 4.2 or 5.0 SC Range Rover?
The second installer was the most correct. Only Prins make a system for the 5.0 supercharged Rangerover engine, only a few installers (not many of the Prins installers) can fit that system, it's expensive, there's little feedback from people who have had them done, the most knowledgeable people abou...

Re: Dream xxi shutting off and alarming

If you had software and an interface cable and looked in the diagnostics screen it would most likely spell out why it refu...

Re: BRC Self mapping issue
LPG does have a higher octane rating than even super unleaded. Don't confuse octane with power though. Octane rating points to the anti-knock properties of the fuel, which generally dictates the compression ratio you can build an engine to have to run on the fuel. A higher octane rating doesn't mean...

Re: BRC Self mapping issue
You've said you have BRC Sequent... Is that correct or is it Sequent24 / 24MY07 / Sequent 56 / 56 MY07 / Sequent Fast / Fastness / etc ? Various versions don't use a runtime map sensor but need a map sensor to be connected during calibration. The error message you're getting during auto-calibration ...
