Nozzle sizes???

I'm expecting some new injectors, so in readiness I removed the old ones and removed the nozzles, incase I need to re-use them in the new injectors. Whilst I was cleaning them I noticed that two were wider than the other two? I measured them and two are 2mm and two are 3.5mm. I am pretty sure the tw...

Re: 'Dirty' gas strikes!.. or does it?

Hi Mak Yes I can take it to the distributer which is about 35 miles away, which I will if needed. Mine was set to change over at a set temp. Since the problem I've altered the software so it only changes when over 2000 revs, but it didn't really change anything. I drove 200 miles in it yesterday and...

Re: 'Dirty' gas strikes!.. or does it?

Hi Mak Over the last week, I've had a similar problem that only happens on first LPG switch over of the day. It runs fine after and I was associating it to the colder weather. I have upped the switch over temp on the software, but no improvement. It starts fine and goes normal on petrol first thing....

Give me £1500 and I am nice too  I hope you get it sorted as it sounds it bit of a botch up job and well worth checking over by someone else. Was the person LPGA approved? Any idea what system was instal...

Re: Clio conversion

On that level of annual mileage, you would surely be silly not to convert. The main issue would be, how easy is it to get LPG locally as you will clearly need to fill up regularly and what size tank can a Clio accomodate without losing all its boot space? Whatever you do, find someone who's been con...

Re: Aldesa RSI+ kit on a Hond Accord Coupe

[I guess that's a good thing (saves you more petrol) but what about problems on the petrol side of things - no lubrication of the petrol system/injectors.. if you ever plan to run on petrol that is! I always start it on petrol and it is set to flick over to petrol every 30 mins. It does actually ch...

Re: Aldesa RSI+ kit on a Hond Accord Coupe

Big question is.......does it need flashlube on the Aldesa system?? It has a setting that means it flicks over to petrol every 15 minutes to lubricate the injectors, to supposedly prevent them ceasing. That's assuming the seting is being used. Does anyone know if this removes the need for Flashlube?

Re: Aldesa RSI+ kit on a Hond Accord Coupe

Mine is set to switch over at 20c. It was 18c and was fine if I was on the move, but not quite ready if on idle, so I upped it a tad. Had a look the other day and currently I reach 20c in less than half a mile, but would take 1.5 miles to reach 70c. My petrol consumption has reduced big time since I...
