Re: tank fills

That's not right. My own tank always fills up to 80%, to the litre and I've had the car over a year and fill up every week. Something else is going on - try another pump as the pump and tank I believe both cut off the supply independently.

Re: WOW - Thanks

There's no point debating the merits of otherwise of go lpg - simply look at the conversion pictures - a picture paints a 1000 words.

Selling an already converted lpg car is no excuse - go lpg's reputation was on the line by selling a dud car - what's left of it anyway.

Re: Does anyone know this installer

I had a Romano system fitted to my car over a year ago - 20k plus miles later its still running sweet. It more how well the kit is fitted than the kit itself. You will not get a definite answer about Flashlube. So to be on the safeside get it installed, it wont do any harm and will give you some pea...

Re: Complete Newbie

You could try Warrington Autogas - a bit of a trip West - but would certainly give your newly converted car a test run.

Re: Complete Newbie

If anyone says they converted to LPG because of the environmental benefits they are telling porky pies. Everyone converts because of the lower fuel costs, it simply makes economic sense. Let us know where you are, and someone might be able to recommend a localish installer. One thing I have learned ...

Re: Aldesa RSI+ kit on a Hond Accord Coupe

26 mpg on lpg for a 2 litre car is excellent. I run a 1.6 Astra, in 5th gear all the time on the motorway - and get 31 mpg. I always start on petrol and instantly change over to lpg. The changeover is based upon revs not temp for my kit. I could start on lpg and have done so in the past, but i like ...

Re: Advice re LPG

This is a good question. If I was going for a new car, I would go for a factory lpg volvo. Positive reviews and no faults reported on this or the other forum. So called factory fit cars such a vauxhalls are standard cars which are converted before 1st sale. To my mind buying a standard car and insta...
