Converting my 2001 - 728i Sport

Hay All After selling on my 1997 - 523i with a BRC conversion… I’ve gone and bought a 7 series a 2001 – 728i Sport 108k miles. Unfortunately it’s not converted so am looking at costings… It’s Either BRC or Prinns that I’ll be looking at… I’ve a little bit of experience with BRC and most are swaying ...

Re: New Car and Transfer of System

Hay Mak – Well I have no doubt that the car can be fixed. It’s still at the garage being checked out, current issues with the car was the head was warped and had to be skimmed, currently it’s smoking on start up and losing a lot of oil, and finally it’s idling really badly both on petrol and gas!… t...

New Car and Transfer of System

After the recent issues I’ve had with the head gasket and various other bits. I’m considering getting rid or p/x my 1997 523i SE Auto with about 140k miles – BRC Sequent 56. I know I wont get a good price on a private sale so p/x is the best option plus it mean I don’t have to go through the hassle ...

Re: NGK BKR6EIX or NGK BKR6EIX-LPG

Thinking of moving back to standard copper core plugs... Only problem is that I can't find a standard NGK or Bosch plug with a single electrode. I beleive the NGK ones are 2 and the Bosch 4!!! Not sure how well that will work!! Also beleive the gap can be adjusted

Re: NGK BKR6EIX or NGK BKR6EIX-LPG

I’m currently experiencing some misfire issues (1997, BMW 523i SE Auto), and I’m almost certain it’s my plugs. I’ve had the misfire some months but thought I’d check out the sparkplugs this weekend. I noticed that certain plugs were quire loose inside the cylinder… I know for a fact that I had tight...

More Than

More Than Stipulate that so long as any modification doesn't effect the performance of the car it doesn't increase your premium

Found them to be very competitive last year along with a £75 cash back via Quidco! Lets see what happens next month when my renewal comes through.

Re: Hi, looking to gas!!

Best advice I can give you is make sure the installer is reputable, even better if they previously done the same car before… LPG can be a minefield, I would stay away from inferior kits... Prins and BRC all the way! Worth checking with all the installers on what kits they fit Finally make sure you c...

Re: Platinum vs Standard plugs

Well as a matter of fact they did to my discs and pads all round! The price that he charged me was a bit dubious and a bit more than what I was expecting so that led me to move away from them. First thing that I did do with my new indy was get all the previous work that the previous indy did just in...
