It would be wise (assuming the petrol side is working all okay), to get the LPG side re-tuned following all the work carried out.

Never heard of the LS1 having soft valves or suffering from VSR - best to speak to a few installers who have converted cars who use that engine or similar.

The letter should be on the existing vapouriser on the label.

I tend to use Iridium equivalent plugs from the same range but usually normal are fine. It depends on the car.. older vehicles I have seen (pre-2000) often require a closer gap.
