Re: Jaguar 4.0l conversion

I know its confusing and a bit scary having fitters telling you these things about ecu needs tweaking/fuel line shut off etc. I dont know why your local installer is telling you this because its not your problem , a well fitted quality system will not cause these issues anyway. Although a strong eng...

Re: Jaguar 4.0l conversion

There is no reason why this engine cannot be converted 100%. I am glad the Jag specialist knock LPG conversions because it means less people will chose it and we can have cheap fuel. Gastech have done a few of these. If you click on this link you will see a couple of examples of the V8 jag converted...

Re: BMW X5 4.4i Sport

Gastech are no more in Huntingdon I am afraid. The only workshop is now in Essex. One of the gas fitters who worked at the Huntingdon branch is doing their local servicing/repairs on a mobile basis.

Re: Clio conversion

Currently we get 10-15 quid discount on lpg for road tax, next year the discount will stop and we will pay the same. I cannot say if you will be alright getting a friend to do the lpg conversion for you. Whats his parts back up like, guarantee and does he issue a LPGA certificate which most insuranc...

Re: Clio conversion

Myself, I would have any car converted to LPG. As yours is low mileage and you do the miles then yes, but get plenty of references for the fitter/kit. In your travels I would look for a taxi that has been converted to LPG and flag him down and ask where they had it converted because if they have fou...
