I will be starting this shortly using a kit that I had on an A4 V6 [OMVL Piro] with various new bits in addition.

[Hello btw :) ]

My question is wanting confirmation of the water connections...................
I cant make it out for sure from the images on the home pages here.
I reckon, from looking at mine [air con but no independant heating] that i want to go from the manifold across the back of the engine...........looking at this diag hose "8" is a return from the heater and hose "7" feeds to the heating aux electric pump. I reckon to tee into both these.

Is that what you did?

Thanks.

Hi and welcome,

Pictures of what I teed are here:

Make sure you do not use the pipe that feeds the aux water-pump as Go LPG did in my first install - this meant that if the car heater was not on, coolant flow was very slow and completely insufficient for anything other than idle, if that.

Sorry I can't recall the detail - coming up to 2 years since I did the 2nd conversion!

Have you identified where the 3 coolant hoses go from the heater core at the back of the block?
