Well i have to say i have fallen foul of a certain mr sparrow these last few weeks. A customer of mine decided to take a conversion in for an inspection as i happened to be on holiday, he changed his insurance and they said he needed it to be on the UKLPGA register. Now i have been a professional installer for 16 years give or take. So i hope i know what I'm doing.
I saw the report today, whilst taking it for a UKLPGA inspection, what a pile of rubbish. You would say 'punting for work' to put it kindly.
Needless to say, it passed the inspection, as it was well up to the standard of the cop 11. But you would think by the state of the report it was absolute shocker !
The inspector and i went over the conversion with a copy of the report, and a fine toothed comb. And i have to say, nothing stated was true......
Im just sorry my customer had to pay for the privilege. Anyway all sorted, just thought i should share.
