Reasons for poor economy on LPG

Hi,
I bought a 1997 3.0L Chrysler Voyager last year which has a Magic jet lpg system fitted. The LPG efficiency was not very good (15mpg), I took it to be checked over where a misfire and leaking exhaust manifold were identified.
I changed the spark plugs, leads, fixed the exhaust leak and the car runs much better on petrol but now LPG economy is even worse! (less than 10mpg) Any ideas on what might be wrong? I have checked for and can't smell any leaks.
