Am I the only one that is miffed at the price increase lately. A garage I use has stuck 9p a lt over the space of a few days. Can't believe how much it has gone up. Thought they tried to keep it at around half the price of petrol ?

I think it's to do with the colder weather and the rising price of crude oil. However, if it gets to about 70% of the price of petrol, it won't be that worthwhile. Don't forget the increase in vat to 20% in January 2011 too.

The whole fuel cost is just scary. We are around 60% of petrol here but it seems to just get worse and more expensive.
